Do not attend a walk if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. By attending you are declaring that you do not.
You can only travel to the start by car with members of your household / support bubble. Please follow government guidelines and advice on this.
Bring a face covering, in case social distancing cannot be maintained, and sanitising gel that is effective against the Covad-19 virus.
At the start and end of the walk and during stops, maintain social distancing of at least 2m.
We will aim to walk in groups of no more than 6 people, maintaining social distancing within each small group. This will not stop you talking to others at the start and end, and during stops, maintaining 2m social distancing. This has two benefits:
1. COVID-19 risks are reduced a lot compared to everyone walking alongside everyone else at some point on the walk.
2. We will be less intimidating to others that we meet and passing will be far easier.
Once we set off, each small group should stick together and keep about 5 meters behind the preceding group. Make sure that you do not catch up at stiles and places where the path narrows.
Minimise, as much as possible, touching gates and posts. Where you do, use sanitising gel before touching your face.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 after the event you must inform the secretary, so that the ‘track and trace’ system can be activated.
There will be no Pub Lunches until further notice.
The maximum number of walk attendees is 30.
